I'm 18 years old, an art and design student currently studying for my National Extended Diploma, Level 3.

I love anything to do with art, from photography to illustrations. This is my blog for my art work.

I bought these cute little lantern lights for my room. and once I turned them on they looked so colourful and bright I wanted to see what it would look if I photographed them.

After taking these photos it has really inspired me to look into light in art.

My work…Olympic Rings - Made out of wire

I am currently doing an Olympics themed project, based around water sports. As everyone knows the Olympic rings are a big symbol through the olympics, therefore when I took part in a wire workshop I decided to recreate the olympic rings as a wire sculpture.

my final digital Olympic posters for the water sports outside of London (Weymouth and Eton Dorney)

These posters were made from my original black and white collagraph prints I created; which I made out of wire and pasta. Therefore all of black lines you can see have been created from my collagraph print which I then scanned in to the computer along with some backgrounds I created, then I used Photoshop to edit the print and add in colours from my own backgrounds.

Jersey, at Gorey Castle : Holly Parkhouse photography

I took these photographs on a lovely sunny day in Jersey, at Gorey Castle. Jersey is a incredible place to visit, with beautiful landscapes and sandy beaches.
